Monica's family arrived on Saturday for the start of their 10 day holiday in Nerja. This will no doubt prompt the usual Italian style eating of antipasta, main meal and desert. We started off with a huge salad accompanied with Pata Negra (Jamon Serrano) and cheese. Desert was a vienetta and coffee to follow. Lovely!
Next was the traditional start to the holiday on the Med. It was close to 7:30pm as we headed for the beach. The temperature was perfect. We all stood in a line, holding hands in front of the sea, and made a run for it. No refusals, even Monica went straight in. The only surprise was that Andrea was first out as it was "too cold". We soon got him back in.
We stayed on the beach until gone 8:30pm. Then back home for another marathon feed!
