Frigiliana

A trip to Frigiliana in the late evening sunshine. A sure sign that Summer is already upon us. Past 7pm in the evening and the temperature is still well over the 20 degree mark.

Angela gets ripped-off at the theatre.

The girls first experience in Frigiliana was not a great success. One of the attractions at the beginning of Calle Real swallowed Angela's hard earned 50 cents and gave nothing in return.

One of the many beautiful streets in Frigiliana.

Still, a trip to Frigiliana is not to see the "mechanical teatro". It is to wander lazyly through the narrow calles and admire the well kept houses and the colourful flowers that can be found everywhere.

View from the tops.

The plan was to have a drink at the top of Frigiliana to enjoy the stunning views of the pueblo, mountains and sea. Unfortunately, the mirador bar was closed. So we decided on a quick return to Nerja to hit the tapas trail instead.

Tapas in Bar Redondo.

The girls first experience of tapas had to be Bar Redondo. A perfect training ground for Guiris. Then it was on to El Pulguila for a fish tapa (Angela doesn't eat meat) and then on to Meson de Julio for the best Carne con Tomate.
