Playa El Salon.
I never realised that the tree outside the church was so big. A good viewing point in this area is the Terrace at Cochran's. It sits just above the Cuesta Salon, the whitewalled path down to the beach. A nice hotel to stay at is the Balcon with its own beach area.
Playa El Playazo.
A popular beach with the locals. No sunbed hire along this long stretch of beach, although there are several good chringuitos and a great bar, The Boatyard, that has live music most weekends. The "Pueblo Blanco" Frigiliana can be seen in the distance. It doesn't look that high up from the sea.
The Balcon de Europa.
Fantastic views of the rugged coastline and of course the spectacular Mount Cielo.
This great looking Villa is perched above Playa Carabeo.
Playa Burriana.
Without doubt the busiest beach in Nerja. You can hardly move in August.
