TOGS 1st April 2007
My second game with the TOGS. No improvement in my scoring. A poor 22 points (10 Points out; 12 back). A few decent shots played including a thunderous 3-wood on the 15th which took the longest drive prize. I hit it a good 20 yards past the nearest effort. That was level with the last bunker. Ok, I had a bit of fortune hitting the path....

Getting better. 29 points (12 out; 17 back). Starting to hit the 3-wood well now. None better than the drive on 12 on the top level. Set me up nicely for the birdie. The million dollar hole in one competition was back on the 14th. Missed the green as usual, with a 6-iron, just short. Memo to self: Use a 5-iron when agaist the wind in future.

He's back! Well, almost. 33 points (17 out; 16 back). First 5 holes played in rain. Got my round back on track after a poor start. Actually finished all the holes to shoot 89. 14th hole continues to be a pain. Hit 5-iron, wind against. Result: Over hit the green. Back to the drawing board.
