New Years in Nerja

We went to the Balcon de Europa for the traditional New Years Eve party. Champagne (well very cheap cava but we are in a crisis) and 12 grapes in hand we were set for the night.


Time to open the Champers.

The tradition is to eat a grape and wash it down with champagne, on every chime of the bell. I have tried with limited success in previous years. So the plan was to just eat the grapes and then take a big swig of champagne to wash them down.


The plan was a success!
