Bar Redondo

This was the first tapas bar I ever visited. It was a great place for the beginner. I say "was" because it has changed hands since. The place went quickly down hill and we stopped going. However, the place has changed hands again, so we thought we would give Bar Redono tercerer another go.

The best thing about the place is the large round bar (hence the name) with all the various tapas on display. Everyone orders their drinks and then wanders around the bar to choose their tapas. Its very popular with the guiries as they can just point at the one they want. The other good thing is the location. It is on Calle Gloria, the street that connects Calle Cristo and Calle Pintada. A great place to watch the world go by in Summer.

So the third Round Bar during my time in Nerja. The staff has changed. Very quick and efficient at serving the beer and tapas. The menu has changed. Its a lot smaller know. The tapas were OK, but its no Meson de Julio. Still, it will be added back to the places we go in Nerja.
