Time for a Spritz.
One of the "Must do" things when in Venice has to be downing a Spritz or two. On arrival at Plaza Roma it was a quick walk to Santa Margherita to have a spritz in one of the bars. A Spritz a bitter apéritif made of either Aperol, Campari or my favorite Select. This is mixed with White Wine and Sparkling Mineral Water.
One of my missions will be to find the best place for a Spritz in Venice. For the moment it is the Giudechina Pasticceria & Gelateria in Giudecca. A place for another Venetian tradition. A quick Spritz and select the different cakes to take home for another wonderful Italian lunch made by Antonella.
